Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies and societal trends transforming 2026+ landscapes
- Develop quantitative foresight models predicting market disruptions across 12 industry verticals
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate future scenarios into 5-year strategic plans
- Author annual 'Future State' whitepapers for executive board and investor briefings
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and academic thought leaders
- Design innovation workshops for cross-functional teams to prototype future-ready solutions
- Present future trend analyses at industry conferences and executive summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, advanced materials)
- Exceptional data visualization skills with tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic innovation (peer-reviewed journals)
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and board-level stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future strategy implementations with measurable impact
