- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with organizational 5-year vision
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype breakthrough concepts
- Translate foresight insights into product development frameworks and go-to-market strategies
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and innovation ecosystems
- Present future scenarios to executive leadership and influence R&D priorities
- Author thought leadership on disruptive technologies and societal impacts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, innovation, or futurism with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech
- Deep expertise in horizon scanning and scenario planning methodologies
- Proven track record of launching future-facing products/services
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Exceptional storytelling skills to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Strong network within tech innovation ecosystems (VCs, labs, accelerators)
- Experience with strategic foresight tools (Delphi, STEEP, causal layered analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating future-focused projects with measurable impact
