Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) for 2026-2030 horizon
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market disruptors
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into R&D priorities
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-forward features into development sprints
- Author thought leadership publications and executive briefings on technology evolution
- Build and maintain an external network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Quantify market impact and ROI of emerging technology adoption scenarios
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Technology, Strategy, or Futures Studies (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of translating tech trends into commercial opportunities
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., AGI, neurotech, climate tech)
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario-planning capabilities
- Published thought leadership in technology or business futurism
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on strategic innovation
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ technology foresight projects with measurable outcomes
