Responsibilities
- Architect multi-year innovation roadmaps targeting 2026+ technological inflection points
- Lead cross-functional sprints to prototype next-gen solutions in AI ethics, biotech convergence, and climate resilience
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging risks and opportunities across 15+ industries
- Develop predictive models for societal shifts driven by metaverse, quantum, and neurotech advances
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite executives and government innovation councils
- Mentor junior futurists in advanced scenario planning and systems thinking methodologies
- Publish white papers on 2026 workforce evolution and digital sovereignty trends
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech R&D
- Proven track record of developing 5+ year future scenarios for Fortune 500 clients
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized governance
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent field
- Published research on exponential technology adoption patterns (2015-2025)
- Fluency in futures mapping tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi method)
- Experience advising on policy implications of AI alignment and AGI development
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ implemented innovations from future-vision concepts
