Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI) to forecast industry disruptions by 2026
- Develop 5-10 year innovation roadmaps aligned with corporate vision and market dynamics
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify high-impact opportunities in frontier technologies
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with data-driven scenarios
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and startups to scout disruptive innovations
- Monitor geopolitical shifts and regulatory changes affecting technology adoption timelines
- Author annual 'Future State' reports influencing R&D priorities and investment decisions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or emerging technology consulting
- Proven track record developing long-term tech roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional scenario planning and trend analysis capabilities with published research
- Strong stakeholder management skills with experience presenting to C-suite audiences
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning, causal layered analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successfully implemented innovation strategies
