Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, market trends, and socio-economic patterns to develop 2026+ strategic scenarios
- Design and lead cross-functional innovation sprints focused on disruptive business models
- Present data-driven future forecasts to executive stakeholders with actionable recommendations
- Develop and maintain Horizon's 'Future Radar' - an early-warning system for industry disruptors
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype solutions for anticipated market shifts
- Author thought leadership publications on future-proofing strategies
- Mentor junior strategists in foresight methodologies and critical thinking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-ready business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Experience with AI/ML, biotech, or climate tech foresight frameworks
- Portfolio of published future outlooks or strategic foresight projects
