Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026-2030 innovation roadmap, identifying paradigm-shifting technologies across AI, quantum, biotech, and sustainable energy
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of engineers, scientists, and designers to prototype next-generation solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government agencies, and Fortune 500 companies
- Present futuristic vision to C-suite executives and board members, translating complex concepts into actionable strategies
- Conduct horizon scanning to anticipate societal, economic, and technological disruptions
- Drive ethical frameworks for emerging technologies ensuring alignment with human values
- Secure $10M+ in innovation funding through compelling proposals and stakeholder alignment
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurism with Fortune 500 or unicorn-scale experience
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough technologies with measurable market impact
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI development, or climate tech
- Executive presence with experience interfacing with C-suite, government officials, and academic leaders
- Advanced degree in relevant field (PhD/MSc preferred) or equivalent demonstrable expertise
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Fluency in exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Certification in Futures Studies or equivalent foresight methodology
