Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify paradigm-shifting opportunities through 2030
- Develop and execute innovation roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, climate tech)
- Champion cross-functional R&D initiatives with $50M+ annual innovation budget
- Present future scenarios to stakeholders and secure executive alignment on strategic pivots
- Build and lead a global team of futurists and innovation specialists
- Publish thought leadership on 2026+ industry transformations
- Partner with venture capital arms to identify and integrate disruptive startups
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record of scaling future-focused initiatives to enterprise level
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, synthetic biology, quantum systems, or climate resilience
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent discipline
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFSD) preferred
- Exceptional ability to translate complex scenarios into executable strategies
- Experience presenting to Fortune 500 boards and C-suite audiences
- Portfolio of published future scenarios or innovation frameworks
