Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 technology foresight ecosystem, identifying disruptive trends across AI, quantum computing, biotech, and sustainable energy
- Create strategic innovation roadmaps with 3-5 year horizons, aligning technological capabilities with market opportunities
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype and validate next-generation concepts
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and board members through compelling narratives
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and global research consortia
- Monitor geopolitical, economic, and social factors impacting technological adoption
- Champion a culture of innovation by mentoring teams and embedding foresight methodologies
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic innovation, futurism, or technology consulting with Fortune 500 or hyper-growth startups
- Proven track record of forecasting and commercializing emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation (articles, books, patents)
- Experience building and leading innovation teams in matrix organizations
