Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and socioeconomic indicators to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop strategic frameworks and innovation roadmaps for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to prepare the organization for future uncertainties and opportunities
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate futuristic concepts through rapid experimentation cycles
- Communicate complex future scenarios to executive stakeholders through compelling narratives and visualizations
- Identify strategic partnerships and investments to accelerate future-readiness
- Establish KPIs to track organizational adaptation to emerging paradigms
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurist research
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology forecasting
- Strong understanding of emerging technologies (AI, Web3, advanced robotics, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data synthesis and storytelling abilities with executive audiences
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFPS) or innovation methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating futurist projects or published thought leadership
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and translate complex concepts into actionable strategies
