Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to map technological, societal, and economic shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop quantitative future-state models using predictive analytics and scenario planning frameworks
- Design strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 clients navigating disruption in AI, biotech, and climate tech
- Present executive-level trend briefings translating complex futures into actionable business strategies
- Build and maintain Horizon's proprietary 2026 Trend Intelligence Database
- Collaborate with R&D teams to validate foresight hypotheses through pilot programs
- Pioneer new foresight methodologies using machine learning and data visualization tools
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related quantitative discipline
- 5+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or trend forecasting
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and disruption modeling
- Technical proficiency with AI forecasting tools (e.g., GPT-4, Palantir) and data visualization platforms
- Published thought leadership on exponential technologies or systemic change
- Experience advising C-suite on multi-year strategic transformation
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-state implementations
