Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI) and their societal implications by 2026
- Develop scenario-planning models for geopolitical and economic shifts in the next 3-year horizon
- Lead workshops with C-suite executives to translate foresight into strategic roadmaps
- Author white papers on future-proofing business models in volatile markets
- Partner with R&D teams to identify disruptive innovation opportunities
- Monitor global signals from academia, startups, and policy think tanks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech trend analysis
- Published research on exponential technologies or long-term forecasting
- Expertise in scenario planning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, causal layered analysis)
- Strong network with futurist communities and academic institutions
- Experience translating complex concepts into executive-level insights
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Flourish) and trend analysis software
