Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive trends across technology, sociology, and geopolitics through 2030
- Develop and present data-driven strategic scenarios to executive leadership and board members
- Lead cross-functional task forces to prototype and validate future-facing business models
- Design innovation frameworks for product development teams incorporating 2026 market projections
- Establish thought leadership through white papers, keynote presentations, and industry reports
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and competitive landscapes for early-mover opportunities
- Mentor junior futurists and curate an internal future-readiness certification program
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years in strategic planning, futures research, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
