Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive forces impacting 2026 market landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning models for climate adaptation, AI ethics, and biotechnology convergence
- Present strategic roadmaps to stakeholders with data-driven visualizations and narrative storytelling
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-proof solutions for autonomous systems and quantum computing
- Author thought leadership papers on sustainable urbanization and metaverse economics
- Coordinate cross-functional sprints to validate future-viability of product roadmaps
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field with 5+ years applied experience
- Proven track record in scenario planning for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in trend analysis methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEPLE, weak signal detection)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI
- Exceptional data visualization skills using Tableau/Power BI and narrative frameworks
- Published thought leadership in futurist journals or industry whitepapers
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ multi-year strategic foresight projects
