Responsibilities
- Analyze macroeconomic, technological, and sociocultural trends to forecast industry disruptions through 2030
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for organizational adaptation to emerging realities
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-proof solutions
- Present trend insights to executive leadership and board stakeholders quarterly
- Curate an annual 'Horizon Report' outlining critical developments for 2026
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate futurism
- Published thought leadership on technological or societal transformation
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning
- Proficiency with futures forecasting tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Experience presenting to C-suite audiences and influencing strategic decisions
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-oriented projects
