Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and climate tech domains
- Develop strategic roadmaps for 2026+ product ecosystems and market entry strategies
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into near-term R&D priorities
- Build and maintain relationships with global innovation hubs, academic institutions, and thought leaders
- Produce executive-level reports and scenario-planning frameworks for senior leadership
- Anticipate regulatory and ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Champion a culture of experimentation and calculated risk-taking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (e.g., AGI, synthetic biology, Web3)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario-planning capabilities
- Experience with futures methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis, cross-impact matrices)
- Portfolio of published foresight work or successful innovation initiatives
