Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and validate disruptive trends impacting 2026 (AI ethics, quantum computing adoption, climate tech breakthroughs)
- Develop strategic roadmaps integrating emerging technologies with business objectives
- Present foresight findings to executive leadership and cross-functional teams
- Partner with product teams to embed future-readiness into innovation pipelines
- Author thought leadership publications and industry whitepapers
- Monitor geopolitical shifts, regulatory changes, and socioeconomic indicators
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, scientists, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains (e.g., AGI, synthetic biology, space economy)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology journals
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
- Fluency in quantitative and qualitative research techniques
