Responsibilities
- Analyze horizon-scanning data (AI, biotech, quantum computing, etc.) to identify disruptive opportunities and threats for 2026-2030
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks and strategic foresight models for executive decision-making
- Lead cross-functional innovation workshops to co-create future-state business models
- Produce trend briefings and predictive reports for stakeholder alignment
- Partner with R&D to validate future-viability of emerging technologies
- Establish KPIs to track strategic execution against future-state objectives
- Represent Horizon Dynamics at global futurist forums and thought leadership platforms
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurology, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused planning
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Proven track record of translating foresight into executable business strategy
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization capabilities
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from foresight academy)
- Experience with futures simulation tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis)
