Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technological, economic, and sociocultural trends to develop 3-5 year strategic foresight frameworks
- Design and lead scenario-planning workshops for executive stakeholders across healthcare, finance, and technology sectors
- Author high-impact trend reports and white papers published in industry journals and policy forums
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions addressing climate resilience and ethical AI
- Develop predictive models using machine learning to quantify disruption risks and opportunities
- Represent the firm at global futurist conferences and thought leadership summits
- Mentor junior strategists in futures research methodologies and critical thinking
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (Master's required, PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in strategic consulting or corporate futurism with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with ability to translate complex futures into executive narratives
- Published author in futures research or technology ethics (portfolio required)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies (preferred)
