Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for long-term organizational resilience
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-proof solutions and innovation pipelines
- Present future trend analyses to executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Author thought leadership publications on exponential technologies and their societal implications
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field with 5+ years of strategic foresight experience
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-ready organizational strategies
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and their trajectory evolution
- Mastery of foresight methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning, backcasting)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex, ambiguous data into actionable insights
- Strong communication skills for translating future scenarios into executive decision frameworks
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future strategy implementations or published futurist work
