Responsibilities
- Map 3-5 year technological trajectories across AI, biotech, and climate sectors
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for board-level decision making
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D and product teams
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports for C-suite and investor stakeholders
- Identify disruptive threats and opportunities through horizon scanning
- Design ethical governance frameworks for emerging technologies
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and think tanks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Portfolio demonstrating published trend analysis or scenario planning
- Expertise in exponential technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP, cross-impact matrices)
- Track record advising Fortune 500 on future-proofing strategies
- Fluency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- PhD or equivalent research experience preferred
