Responsibilities
- Architect multi-year strategic foresight frameworks targeting 2026+ technological and societal shifts
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive innovations across AI, biotech, and quantum domains
- Develop scenario-based roadmaps for product development and market positioning
- Collaborate with C-suite to embed futurist insights into corporate strategy
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints prototyping next-generation solutions
- Publish thought leadership reports on emerging industry paradigms
- Mentor junior futurists in advanced trend analysis methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology assessment
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, nanotech, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data storytelling and visualization skills (Python/Tableau)
- Portfolio demonstrating published futurist work or impact-driven strategies
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston)
