Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify breakthrough technologies and market opportunities through 2026
- Develop and publish strategic foresight reports on AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align organizational strategy with future trends
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for exponential change and black swan events
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Translate complex future concepts into compelling narratives for diverse stakeholders
- Champion innovation culture through hackathons, R&D sprints, and experimental projects
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futuristics, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in foresight, strategy consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology forecasting
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting to executive audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published future outlooks or strategic frameworks
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent experience
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and navigate complex systems thinking
