Responsibilities
- Analyze macroeconomic indicators and technological convergence points to identify 2026 market opportunities
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for C-suite clients across 5 key industries
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable strategic initiatives
- Author quarterly Future Briefs distributed to 500+ executive stakeholders
- Curate Horizon's annual Futures Conference featuring Nobel laureates and industry pioneers
- Mentor junior strategists in horizon scanning methodologies
- Partner with R&D to validate emerging technologies through pilot programs
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or equivalent futurist role
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven track record of influencing executive decisions through trend analysis
- Expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, circular economy models, or neurotech integration
- Certification in scenario planning (e.g., WFS certification) preferred
- Published thought leadership in Harvard Business Review or MIT Sloan Review
- Fluency in futures forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ years of strategic impact for Fortune 500 clients
