Responsibilities
- Forecast technological, societal, and economic shifts through rigorous trend analysis and scenario planning
- Design multi-year innovation roadmaps aligning with 2026 strategic objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate future-focused solutions
- Develop thought leadership content (whitepapers, keynotes) positioning Horizon as an industry pioneer
- Establish partnerships with emerging tech startups and research institutions
- Quantify market opportunities and risks for next-generation business models
- Mentor talent in futures thinking methodologies and strategic foresight
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, innovation consulting, or futurist research with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record developing 5+ year strategic roadmaps for complex organizations
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFAP from APF) or equivalent experience
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published thought leader in industry journals or major media outlets
- MBA or advanced degree in Futures Studies, Economics, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successfully implemented strategic foresight projects
