Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, quantum computing, climate resilience) to forecast opportunities and threats for 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for 5-10 year strategic horizons
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present executive briefings on emerging technologies and their business implications
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Author annual 'State of the Future' reports influencing company strategy
- Mentor junior strategists in foresight methodologies and trend analysis
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism role
- Proven track record of forecasting industry disruptions with documented impact
- Expertise in systems thinking, scenario planning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, clean energy)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for translating complex futures into actionable insights
- Experience advising C-suite executives on long-term strategic pivots
