Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technological, economic, and social trends to forecast market shifts through 2030
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for disruptive technologies including AGI, synthetic biology, and decentralized systems
- Partner with product teams to integrate foresight insights into R&D roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Deliver strategic briefings to executive leadership on paradigm-shifting developments
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future opportunities and risks
- Author thought leadership publications and whitepapers on 2026+ technology trajectories
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks for trend intelligence
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, futurism, or innovation leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven expertise in forecasting technology adoption curves and market disruptions
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI/ML, quantum, synthetic biology, Web3)
- Exceptional data analysis and scenario-planning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical field
- Published thought leadership on emerging tech or market evolution
- Experience presenting complex foresight insights to C-suite audiences
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies preferred
