Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze emerging technological trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) impacting 2026 landscapes
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market disruptions
- Lead cross-functional strategy sessions to integrate foresight into product development cycles
- Present future scenarios and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Monitor geopolitical/regulatory shifts affecting technological adoption and innovation
- Author annual 2026 Horizon Report for internal and external audiences
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or Strategic Foresight (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology forecasting
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech: generative AI, quantum computing, neurotech, climate tech
- Exceptional executive communication with ability to translate complex futures into business strategy
- Experience managing cross-functional teams in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-state strategy implementations
- Certification in Foresight or Strategic Planning (e.g., APF, Foresight Practitioner)
