Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap with 3-year strategic horizon
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum AI, biotech interfaces)
- Analyze emerging tech trends (Web4.0, neural interfaces) and assess commercial viability
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D budget through data-driven investment proposals
- Establish industry partnerships with quantum computing labs and academic institutions
- Present quarterly innovation briefings to board of directors with scenario-based forecasting
- Mentor innovation fellows in futures methodologies and disruptive thinking
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy or innovation leadership with 5+ years in future-focused roles
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Computer Science, or related field
- Proven track record of launching tech products with 3+ year market impact
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and technology forecasting
- Deep understanding of quantum computing, AI governance, and climate tech trends
- Experience securing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Certification in Futures Research (e.g., ACSP preferred)
