Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026-2030 scenario models using AI-driven trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into R&D priorities
- Produce quarterly Future State Briefings for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Design ethical frameworks for emerging technologies (quantum, neurotech, synthetic biology)
- Collaborate with MIT Media Lab and World Economic Forum on global futures projects
- Mentor junior futurists using our proprietary Horizon Scanning Methodology
- Secure patents for predictive models and strategic foresight frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Published work in peer-reviewed futures journals or major industry publications
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi Method)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AGI, etc.)
- Portfolio demonstrating 10+ future-shaping projects with measurable impact
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on long-term transformation
- Fluency in data visualization tools (Tableau, D3.js) and predictive modeling
