Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, policy, and social domains to inform 2026 strategic initiatives
- Develop quantitative and qualitative scenarios modeling disruptive forces and their business implications
- Design and execute cross-functional innovation workshops with R&D, product, and marketing teams
- Author forward-looking strategy documents and executive briefings with data-driven recommendations
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring strategic adaptation and emerging market capture
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and industry thought leadership events
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies and strategic foresight tools
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, or related field with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record translating foresight into commercial strategy in tech, sustainability, or policy domains
- Expertise in scenario planning, systems thinking, and trend analysis frameworks
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and predictive modeling techniques
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Methodologies (preferred)
- Published thought leadership on emerging technologies or societal transformation trends
- Experience working with executive teams in scaling organizations
