Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neurotech, climate AI) and develop 5-10 year impact models
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in 2026+ markets
- Author white papers and thought leadership pieces for industry conferences
- Partner with product teams to prototype future-facing solutions
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and innovators
- Present strategic recommendations to the executive board quarterly
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of mapping technological convergence points
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, D3.js)
- Published thought leadership in futures/innovation publications
- Experience with stakeholder management across C-suite levels
