In this pivotal position, you'll identify paradigm-shifting technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptions that will define 2026 and beyond. You'll collaborate with C-suite executives to translate foresight into innovation priorities, ensuring our organization remains at the vanguard of technological and cultural evolution.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for 2026+ trends across AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing
- Develop scenario-planning models for geopolitical and socioeconomic disruptions
- Author quarterly Future State Briefs for executive decision-making
- Design and facilitate strategic foresight workshops with cross-functional teams
- Build quantitative forecasting models for emerging market adoption curves
- Partner with R&D to align innovation pipelines with future demand signals
- Represent company at global futurist forums and thought leadership summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial strategy
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems modeling
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal impacts
- Exceptional storytelling abilities for complex future concepts
- Published thought leadership on future-of-work or tech evolution
- Experience with Delphi methodology and cross-industry trend mapping
