Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, geopolitics, and socio-economic domains
- Develop 5-10 year strategic scenarios and roadmaps for organizational adaptation
- Design and execute foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi studies, cross-impact analysis)
- Partner with R&D to translate future insights into innovation pipelines
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Build and maintain global network of futurists, technologists, and domain experts
- Author thought leadership publications and represent company at industry forums
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in strategic planning, technology forecasting, or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of producing actionable foresight outputs for Fortune 500 companies
- Mastery of foresight methodologies and scenario planning frameworks
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex, ambiguous data
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Outstanding communication skills with executive presence and storytelling ability
