Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts with 3-5 year predictive accuracy
- Develop and maintain the '2026 Tech Radar'—our proprietary framework for evaluating emerging innovations
- Present quarterly strategic briefings to C-suite and board members, translating complex futures into actionable business imperatives
- Architect 'Future-Proofing Blueprints' for existing product portfolios to ensure relevance in post-2026 markets
- Establish cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, design, and venture capital teams
- Author thought leadership publications featured in MIT Technology Review and Future of Work Journal
- Mentor next-generation futurists through our 'Emerging Minds' program
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (or equivalent demonstrable expertise)
- Minimum 8 years experience in corporate innovation, strategic planning, or technology forecasting
- Proven track record of successfully predicting market shifts (provide 3 case studies)
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence C-level executives
- Published author in futures/innovation thought leadership (portfolio required)
- Fluency in at least two future-gazing frameworks (e.g., Delphi Method, STEEP Analysis)
