Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate futuristic concepts
- Analyze global market shifts to identify disruptive opportunities
- Present visionary insights to C-suite executives and board members
- Collaborate with R&D to translate foresight into actionable R&D priorities
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Produce annual '2026 Horizon Reports' for stakeholder decision-making
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published thought leadership on emerging tech trends (2020-2025)
- Expertise in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong track record of bringing futuristic concepts to market
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from foresight academy)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex visions
