Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech, economic, and social trends to forecast 2026 market landscapes
- Develop scenario-based strategic plans for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align departments on future-readiness initiatives
- Produce annual 'Horizon 2026' reports with actionable innovation recommendations
- Advose on regulatory frameworks and ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Establish partnerships with research institutions and future-focused think tanks
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, futurism, or emerging technology consulting
- Proven track record of developing long-term technology roadmaps
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, synthetic biology, or climate tech
- Advanced degree in strategic foresight, technology management, or related field
- Published thought leadership on future trends (white papers, articles, books)
- Proficiency in futures research tools (horizon scanning, Delphi methods, scenario planning)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 executives on innovation strategy
