Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, climate resilience, biotech, quantum computing) to map their impact on industry landscapes by 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for strategic decision-making under uncertainty
- Produce quarterly foresight reports with actionable recommendations for executive leadership
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into product innovation pipelines
- Establish and maintain a network of futurist thought leaders and academic partners
- Design and implement early-warning systems for emerging threats and opportunities
- Champion a culture of strategic foresight across all organizational levels
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategy, innovation, or futurist roles with demonstrable impact
- Expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Proven ability to synthesize complex data into compelling executive narratives
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Experience with strategic roadmapping for 5-10 year horizons
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence senior stakeholders
