Responsibilities
- Architect long-term tech roadmaps aligned with 2026 societal trends and market forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing proof-of-concept implementations for emerging technologies
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies before mainstream adoption
- Develop patent portfolios for novel applications of quantum computing, AI, and biotech
- Present visionary briefings to investors and board members
- Mentor junior futurists through our Innovation Academy program
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or product development with 5+ years in futurist roles
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AGI, neural interfaces, etc.)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry whitepapers
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic concepts
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python, Rust, or Julia preferred)
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ implemented future-tech projects
