Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, spatial computing) and develop strategic implementation roadmaps for 2026
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Build and maintain a global network of research partners, startups, and academic institutions
- Translate complex technological concepts into executive-level strategic recommendations
- Design and conduct horizon scanning workshops to identify disruptive opportunities
- Author thought leadership publications on the future of technology and its societal impact
- Champion a culture of experimentation and calculated risk-taking within the organization
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of successfully forecasting and implementing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains (e.g., quantum computing, biotech integration, metaverse architecture)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Strategic Innovation preferred
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFTe) or equivalent foresight methodology
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Demonstrated experience presenting to executive boards and investment committees
- Portfolio of published research or successful commercialized innovations
