Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy AI models to predict and optimize carbon footprints across supply chains
- Lead cross-functional teams in integrating sustainability KPIs into ML pipelines
- Architect circular economy algorithms for waste reduction and material circularity
- Conduct lifecycle assessments using predictive analytics for sustainable product design
- Partner with policy teams to develop AI-powered climate compliance frameworks
- Present findings to C-suite executives and sustainability boards
- Mentor junior data scientists on ethical AI deployment for environmental impact
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years in AI/ML with proven sustainability impact metrics
- Expertise in Python, TensorFlow, and cloud-based ML platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Experience with carbon accounting tools and ESG reporting frameworks
- Strong background in systems thinking and lifecycle analysis
- Certification in sustainable AI practices (e.g., Green Software Foundation)
