Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Execute basic wiring tasks, including pulling wire, stripping insulation, and terminating conductors.
- Install electrical fixtures, outlets, and switches according to National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Transport tools and materials to and from job sites efficiently.
- Document work performed and report any material shortages or safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for calculating loads and measurements.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Strong desire to learn the trade and obtain Journeyman licensure.
