Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Learn to interpret and apply the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical equipment and identify potential hazards.
- Prepare work areas by organizing materials, tools, and equipment.
- Assist with conduit bending, wire pulling, and termination of electrical circuits.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Document work completed and report any material shortages or safety concerns to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are required.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read technical manuals.
- Physical stamina to work in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- No prior experience required; we are looking for trainees with a strong work ethic.
