Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and control circuits.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, conduit bending, and termination of electrical components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring all tools and materials are accounted for.
- Participate in safety meetings and training sessions to stay updated on industry best practices.
- Transport tools and materials to and from job sites efficiently.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Texas Driver's License and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- Basic understanding of mathematics and measurement is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.
