Responsibilities
- Assist senior electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Perform basic wiring tasks, including pulling wire, stripping insulation, and terminating connections.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and organized work site, adhering to all OSHA safety standards.
- Operate hand tools and power tools correctly and safely.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the foreman immediately.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- No prior experience is necessary; we value a strong work ethic over past skills.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Basic math skills are required for measuring and calculating electrical loads.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Must be physically fit and able to climb ladders and work at heights.
- Must be willing to obtain required state certifications during employment.
