Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Learn and strictly adhere to all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and local electrical codes.
- Prepare job sites by setting up ladders, scaffolding, and organizing necessary tools and materials.
- Transport tools and equipment to and from job sites in a safe and timely manner.
- Perform basic electrical tasks under supervision, such as pulling wire, stripping insulation, and mounting outlets.
- Conduct routine cleaning of tools, workspaces, and vehicles after every shift.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Valid Texas driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Basic math skills and the physical stamina to lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to learning new skills.
