Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical equipment and ensure compliance with safety codes.
- Prepare work areas by laying out materials and tools as directed.
- Transport materials, equipment, and supplies to job sites.
- Learn to read and interpret basic electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation (mileage reimbursement available).
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to obtain required state licensing/certifications after hiring.
