As an Apprentice, you will work under the mentorship of our certified Journeyman Electricians, gaining hands-on experience in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. We offer a comprehensive training program that prepares you for your state licensing exam.
Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics to understand project requirements.
- Ensure strict adherence to all local and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety protocols on every job site.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and diagnostic work to identify electrical faults.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and keep tools and materials in good condition.
- Handle material logistics, including unloading trucks and organizing job sites efficiently.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Willingness to learn is the most important qualification; we will train you on the job.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (must be able to travel to job sites).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Basic Math Skills: Comfortable with measurements and calculations.
- Strong Work Ethic: Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious attitude.
