Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Perform routine inspections of electrical equipment to ensure safety compliance with local and national codes.
- Use hand tools and power equipment to complete wiring, mounting, and connecting tasks.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site at all times.
- Transport tools and materials to and from job sites as required.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid California Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and at heights (on ladders or scaffolding).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
