Responsibilities
- Learn the Trade: Work alongside experienced journeyman electricians to gain hands-on experience in residential, commercial, and industrial electrical installations.
- Assist with Projects: Help with pulling wire, mounting outlets, installing lighting fixtures, and performing basic maintenance tasks under supervision.
- Read Blueprints: Begin to interpret electrical schematics and diagrams to understand circuit layouts and system requirements.
- Tool Maintenance: Keep tools organized, clean, and in good working condition.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to ensure a safe job site for everyone.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized work area after each job to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: We welcome high school graduates or anyone looking to enter the skilled trades industry with a positive attitude.
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required for travel to different job sites within the region.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to perform basic calculations for measurements and material estimation.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to learn new skills quickly.
- Communication: Good verbal communication skills to interact effectively with the team and clients.
